REARVIEWS II: OH, CANADA

The 2nd issue of rearviews which consists of 2 chain letter strands, one, starting with Nancy Tousley's review of Oh Canada, a recent Canadian survey at the MassMocca and the 2nd, and a Lucy Lippard review of the Toronto survey at the AGO in 1969. The letters cross each other, and the publication as a whole looks into the tradition of survey exhibition in Canada (much of the criticism around the recent MassMocca show being that Canada produces endless surveys with no content). This recent installment of Rearviews includes artists and thinkers such as Marise Lavriere, Rosa Aiello, Patricia Boyd Lennox, Carl Wilson, Craig Leonard, and Chris Hosea
